You can pay monthly or annually. Annual payment gets you two months free; a monthly plan can be cancelled at any time. Payment is by invoice, direct debit or credit card.

Yes. Upgrading is possible at any time and takes effect immediately. Downgrading or cancelling is done via the dashboard and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
