MOJO and Slinger launched the ‘Share your ride’ campaign, and we are proud to announce that we will scale this campaign event industry wide. Hop on as we tackle the most significant sustainability challenge facing the event business: drastically reducing CO₂ emissions.

It is simple: only when the event industry collaborates on reducing emissions can we make an impact. It is a joint effort.

The technology is there, and 130 organizations already use Slinger. The next important step is increasing adoption—this is where the campaign, and you, come in. Until now, each client has set up their own approach, resulting in a wide variety of messages. However, over a time period of months event visitor A will likely also attend event B or game C, presenting a huge opportunity.

We believe that by using one consistent message, we can benefit both individual event organizers and the industry as a whole. A unified message will drive increased usage of the Slinger widgets across clients and industries.

That’s why we created a campaign with a single message—clear and adaptable to fit any channel. Share your ride is the constant, while the tagline is tailored to each event:

Campaign materials

We have created a communications toolkit containing high-quality reels in different sizes, copy in various lengths, and images. This toolkit can be adapted to your specific event(s). We customize the tagline and imagery to fit your target group, while the rest of the content remains uniform. The result is a unified message across all channels within the event industry.

Timing

The campaign wil run from the 1st of April 2025 till the end of the year.  Within this period you decide when and where to leverage the content. However, we ask for your commitment, and together we agree on the number of posts and their timing. We also need this information to add it to our research.

Media channels

We also recommend allocating additional media budget to the campaign. We handle media buying for you based on your ticket buyer data. The campaign can optionally be run from the Slinger channel in collaboration with your own channels. To avoid adding extra workload to your communications department—we understand the heavy demands on every communications team in the event industry. Our goal is to support you while making impact.

Research

The Hogeschool van Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Ministerie van I&W, will conduct research throughout the entire campaign period. By joining this campaign, you will automatically be part of this research, and the results will be shared with you.

We aim to measure how timing, channels, and messaging influence event visitors in sharing rides with each other.
